چکیده

Hypertensive disorder in pregnancy (HDP) is one of the major cause of maternal and perinatal mortality & morbidity worldwide particularly in developing countries. In developed countries, maternal mortality rate varies from 4-40 per 1 lakh live birth. In developing countries, it varies from 100-700 with India having 178 per 1 lakh live birth. Objective: Study of biochemical markers and uterine artery Doppler for the prediction of hypertensive disorders and its severity. Sensitivity and Specificity of biochemical markers and Uterine Artery Doppler and their comparison for the prediction and the severity of hypertensive disorders during pregnancy. Material & Methods: This is a prospective study. Approximately hundred patients with hypertensive disorders during pregnancy attending the OPD (Out patients Department) and IPD (In patient Department) in Obstetrics & Gynecology department will be included.

بررسی مقاومت عروقی در داپلر شریان رحمی در زنان حامله مبتلا به فشار خون مزمن

Background and Aim: Uterine placental bloodstream pressure can be measured by Doppler ultrasonography, which is a non-invasive technique. Uterine arteries velocimetry progressively decreases during the first and second trimesters in normal gestation due to trophoblastic invasion of musculoelastic membrane of uterine spiral arteries. The relationship between trophoblastic invasion and placental ...

Are Uterine and Ovarian Artery Doppler Velocimetry Values Good Pregnancy Predictors in Clomiphene Citrate Cycles?

Background We conducted this prospective study to evaluate the prognostic significance of uterine and ovarian artery Doppler velocimetry in clomiphene citrate (CC) cycles. MaterialsAndMethods A total of 80 patients with unexplained infertility were given 100 mg/day of CC from day 3 to day 7 of their cycles in this current prospective study. On cycle day 3, before administration of CC, each pati...

The Role of Uterine Artery Doppler Ultrasound in the Second Trimester in Predicting Preeclampsia

Background Preeclampsia is a specific pregnancy syndrome. Early diagnosis and proper administration of preeclampsia can lead to improved maternal and neonatal outcome. We aimed to investigate the uterine artery Doppler ultrasound in predicting the preeclampsia in women with a high-risk pregnancy. Materials and Methods This analytic study was conducted on 160 primigravida women with gestational...
